An Art Nouveau medieval design flowerpot designed by Italian designer Mauro Manetti between 1970 and 1980. The planter is made of copper-pewter plated with silver and has a beautiful patina.
Mauro Manetti graduated in architecture from the University of Florence in 1970 and began his career working for design agencies and furniture manufacturers in Italy. In 1977 he founded his own design studio, where he continued to develop projects in the fields of lighting, furniture and decorative accessories.
Throughout his career, Mauro Manetti has won numerous prestigious awards for his creations, including the Compasso d'Oro in 1987 and 1994. His works are exhibited in museums around the world, including the MoMA in New York , the Center Pompidou in Paris and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Mauro Manetti is considered one of the most important Italian designers of his generation, with an innovative and creative approach to design that has influenced many professionals in the sector.
