The German Max Dannhorn company was founded in 1872. From the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, they cooperated with the German Villeroy & Boch porcelain company to design luxurious metal or ceramic trays for families and hotels. Until 1921, most of the shares were acquired by G.B.N. and the name was changed to the Nuremberg Metallurgical Company. , the trademark also changed accordingly.
The metal cup holder has a curved handle and six spheres as supports, which is a classic design during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco age. The MD logo in the shape of a tree is printed on one side. It is the original style before the change in 1921. After a century of history, it has developed a beautiful patina and is fully functional.
