An Art Deco style Crystal Decanter. Rectangular base, multi-faceted body; part of the surface is smooth, faceted, with rhombic and triangular forms. Rhombus corners with plastic, blue relief decoration with a motif of leaves and vine clusters. Cylindrical, short neck. Cork with a diamond-shaped handle, flattened; in the center, transparent, faceted, on the sides decorated like the belly of a vessel (small glass chips on the edges). In the company catalogue, the carafe is listed under number 1534, along with a wine glass.
The history of Niemen Crystal can be traced back to 1883. In 1923, it began to produce elegant crystal vessels for aristocrats and emerging bourgeois families. The Art Deco-style artistic crystal are most highly regarded by collectors.
The company's works are collected by the Polish National Museum and the National Museum in Krakow.
